Skies Above Media is a privately owned independent Outdoor Advertising (OOH) media owner and operator based in Los Angeles. The company was originally founded in 1989 with a service-based approach to help advertisers simplify the power of OOH to connect with the right audience in the right way. Advertising industry veteran Glyn Williams acquired the company in 2021, expanding on the company’s vision to create a better experience for their clients, media partners, property owners, and team members. Skies Above operates primarily large format static and digital media assets in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Detroit, Palm Springs and the Central Valley.

Glyn Williams has over 20 years of experience in the OOH media universe, beginning his career in 2002 at Starcom in Chicago. He was hooked on OOH from the first time he got his client to say “Wow,” and never turned away from a mantra of getting every client he works with to say that word. Glyn has worked with over 100 clients during the first 16 years of his career at Media Agencies including the aforementioned Starcom and Kinetic in Chicago and Rapport in Los Angeles. Most notably in his agency career, Glyn helped launch the Los Angeles office for Interpublic Group’s OOH agency Rapport in 2013. In just five years he led Rapport’s LA office from 6 people with $25 million revenue to 30 staff members with over $100 million revenue and guided them to countless awards, including Ad AdWeek Media Plan of the Year in 2018 for Netflix’s Altered Carbon.
In 2019 Glyn left the agency side to join Mahlmann Media as the Chief Revenue Officer and was later named President in the summer of 2020. Glyn acquired Mahlmann Media from Susan Mahlmann in March 2021 and rebranded the company Skies Above Media in October of 2021.

A 17-year veteran of the Out-Of-Home Industry, Michael started his career at Skies Above Media in 2005. Making the jump from the Service Industry, where he worked in various positions within the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, he brought much of what he learned and translated that to OOH. His understanding of the principles of outstanding service, attention to detail and accountability has served him well as he continues to prioritize a service-oriented approach to partner and client satisfaction.
From his early days as an account executive, he cut his teeth by helping set-up the accounting system, client and vendor contract entry and sales in the Fresno market. A few short years later he was promoted to Director of Operation where he oversaw all RFP’s, installations, proof of performance, contract entry and invoice validation/accounts receivable. Michael was made Vice President in 2013 and expanded his role to include property owner relationships, new ventures, video board programming, working with municipalities, etc. He has nurtured strong relationships with smaller, independent property owners and operators as well as the larger partners in the OOH arena. Michael was named Chief Operating Officer in 2021.
Michael resides in South Pasadena, CA with his wife and two daughters. Hobbies include travel, golf, home improvement and spending time with family.

Our National Sales Director, Curtis Rauch, is bringing over 10 years of experience to the role. Curtis has an extensive background in OOH, most recently as a National Account Executive at Kevani, with additional experience at Westfield and Taubman. Throughout his career, Curtis has partnered with brand and agency leaders to deliver successful media campaigns that create meaningful connections for brands and their audience. He’s passionate about building that connection, and specifically drawn to OOH where he can see those connections play out in person.
Curtis lives in West Hollywood, CA, and when he isn’t strategizing with clients, he enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time running, visiting National Parks, and golfing with friends.

Mandy Tzoc Rodriguez is a SoCal native, raised in the San Gabriel Valley. In May 2020, she graduated from California State University Northridge with Cum Laude honors double majoring in Central American Studies and Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations.
She has contributed to her Central American community in various events, fundraisers, and internships on matters that impact the community. As well, Mandy’s worked as a Social Media Content Coordinator for up-and-coming musicians helping them create a space to share their music and talents. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, reading and spending time with her loved ones.

Alexandra Ahearn is originally from Seattle, Washington. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest surrounded by the constant rain and gloomy weather, she decided to move to Los Angeles to embrace the sunnier and more vibrant lifestyle. She worked as a Nike retail manager for about 3 years, gaining valuable experience in customer service, team leadership, and retail operations.
Later, she made the transition to healthcare marketing, joining a company based in Seattle that allowed her to work remotely. This shift allowed Alex to merge her passion for marketing. She worked on campaigns to help improve patient experiences. In addition to Alex’s career, she has a deep love for horses and spent about 7 years competitively riding on both the west and east coast. This experience not only taught her discipline and perseverance but also instilled a sense of problem solving and the importance of setting and achieving goals. Since living in Los Angeles, Alex has a two-year-old dog that keeps her active, enjoying going on hikes and walks together. There’s always a new trendy coffee shop or restaurant opening, and she loves exploring new areas in LA. Being in a bigger city Alex enjoys going to concerts, pop-up events for makeup, wellness, and movies. She loves living here and all the amazing opportunities it offers.
